Taurus Security System (TSS)rs The Taurus Security System is a built-in feature on all Taurus semi-auto pistols that gives instant-ready protection with the ability to lock your handgun and render it unusable with the turn of a key. The handgun cannot be shot or cocked while the Security System is activated, and the gun’s manual safety cannot be removed.

The gadget is part of the firearm and cannot be misplaced, much as our revolver Security System, and the same unique Security Key works for both the revolver and pistol systems (two keys come with each gun). To engage, put the Key into the button on the pistol’s back or side and spin one-quarter turn clockwise. The Security System is activated as a result of this.

The trigger can’t be pulled or the manual safety can’t be changed. Simply spin the key one-quarter turn back to disengage. The Security System will be released, but the pistol’s manual safety will remain in the “safe” position until you are ready to remove it and fire the gun. New In Box.
