The first thing you’ll notice about the Howa Chassis Rifle is its unique Battleworn Flag Cerakote® graphic treatment. Its performance will have you reaching for it every time you travel to the range. The Chassis Rifle in .308 Winchester is constructed around the famous Howa 1500 action used by a wide range of professional rifle shooters. It sports a flat-bottomed receiver machined from billet steel, with an integrated recoil lug and Howa’s forged one-piece bolt with two locking lugs and the bolt handle functioning as a third, “backup” lug.

Surrounding the Howa receiver is a rock-solid, all-aluminum chassis with a lengthened forend that enables plenty of M-LOK™ accessory-mounting slots. The forend free-floats the cold hammer-forged target barrel, which is capped with a Midwest Industries 3-chamber muzzle brake to reduce muzzle rise.

Howa has fitted a Luth-AR MBA4 buttstock with an adjustable height comb to provide you exceptional control and a pleasant shooting experience with yours.

308 Chassis Rifle, The stock joins up securely with the chassis through a 5-position mil-spec AR-15 carbine receiver extension tube that can take many other aftermarket AR-15 buttstocks if you have the itch to test a different stock. MORE features:
