When designing a shotgun for home defense, Benelli engineers started with the company’s tried-and-true Supernova system, which has a pump-action mechanism that has performed well in field tests. The Benelli Supernova Tactical is a defense-ready version of this battle-ready technology.
The Benelli Supernova Tactical comes with a few extra features not seen on the company’s field-ready versions, in addition to the gun’s reliable pump-action system. This gun has a pistol-grip stock, which gives it a feel akin to today’s contemporary sports rifles. The rifle is built on a steel frame with a durable polymer coating for further strength and weight savings.
