The new 10mm TRPTM Operator® variant with a 5-inch barrel has strategically proven engineering, a higher terminal velocity, and increased stopping power.

The TRPTM (Tactical Response Pistol) series is based on the bespoke Professional ModelTM that satisfied the FBI’s demanding HRT 1911 pistol contract requirements. Springfield’s TRP Operator 1911s were formerly exclusively available in.45 ACP. Since its inception, the TRP has established the standard for serious combat pistols; the 10mm variants maintain this heritage.

Frames and slides made of forged steel are fitted precisely to Match Grade stainless steel barrels with fully supported ramps. Black-T®, a self-lubricating, highly corrosion-resistant coating, is applied to the frame and slide to protect the handgun from heavy usage and extreme circumstances. Integrated accessory rails with three slots allow for the secure installation of lights and lasers. In the 5″ variant, the sights are 3-dot tritium night sights with a tactical-rack rear.
