The integrated compensator eliminates the need for a threaded barrel, making it legal in places that prohibit threaded barrels.
The DR920P is based on Shadow Systems’ full-size DR920 chassis, which supports a complete 17+1 configuration. The comp and slide are machined as a single piece, and the unusual design enables the comp to be removed and reattached quickly for cleaning. The inbuilt compensator, which is awaiting patent, automatically aligns without the need of set screws or other friction devices. For improved shot-to-shot tracking, the DR920P’s front sight is positioned directly on top of the comp.
