Texas Tribute Edition.22 S/L/LR
It’s a state renowned the world over for its hard-fought past, charming character, and the unmistakable pride that comes along with being a Texan. And that’s not to mention the cowboy hats, boots, brisket, and football. Texas is at the heart and soul of what makes our nation great and we are delighted to present the Texas Tribute Edition as honor to the magnificent Lone Star State.
The motivation for this rifle stems to a pivotal time in Texas history in 1901 with the eruption of the first gusher atop Spindletop. This discovery of black gold (or Texas Tea) would alter the fate of Texas forever and transform the growth of our nation. Never seen on a Henry rifle before it, the Texas Tribute Edition boasts a deep black stain on all the walnut furniture, which presents a sharp contrast to the gold and brass accents throughout the remainder of the weapon.
The wood is then studded on both sides with inlaid metal 5-pointed stars that exactly match the “Lone Star Flag” design that is featured on the buttstock encircled by the Texas state outline. The left side of the buttstock is a tad more modest with a lone star inlay towards the buttplate. There’s no question that Texans love their firearms, and it just so happens that we enjoy creating them. That’s why we pushed out all the stops to design a weapon as distinctive as the state that it symbolizes. Remember the Alamo and Don’t Mess with Texas.
