TALO’s engraver based the design on Young’s Germanic scroll and elaborate inlay work. The engraver speculated on what Young could create if given the chance to work on a 1911. Furthermore, the barrel bushing, hammer, magazine, and slide release are all polished to a high sheen. The remaining metal surfaces have been high polished in royal blue in the manner of display guns. The grips are a one-of-a-kind high-polish rosewood dymond wood substance etched with a design reminiscent of the Young style. Grip screws are made of bright stainless steel in the hex form.
