He was a symbol of the Mexican Revolution’s idealistic features. He saw injustice in his home community of Anenecuilo, where his family had lived and farmed the land for many generations. In the fights of the helpless peasants against the affluent landowners, he became an important force for land reform. He was killed in 1919 after being tricked into a meeting by a rival revolutionary leader.

After 100 years, Zapata is still remembered for his dedication to the struggle of the peasants and his adherence to the ideas of justice, freedom, and democracy.

The Emiliano Zapata Colt is a full-sized government slide and frame in.38 Super caliber with a royal blue polished finish. The slide is heavily silver engraved with a design evoking the revolutionary era and fight. The Dahlia, Mexico’s national flower, is featured in the design, as well as a gunshot hole near the image and the shadow of a renowned Zapata statue. The religious emblem for love, sincerity, and loss is the winged heart.

The controls of the pistol are a high-polish royal blue. The barrel bushing has a highly polished silver finish. The grips are a one-of-a-kind pearlite with EZ and a silver Colt medallion engraved on them. The grip screws are stainless hex polished hex. TME001-TME500 are the unique manufacture serial numbers.
