Each slide and frame are individually fitted to assure a tight, smooth, and precise operation. Additionally, the competition barrel is manually fitted for exact lock-up and has a polished throat, fitted barrel lug, and target crown. The Custom Shop SR1911 is constructed entirely of high-quality components, including a low-mass hammer and competition sear from Koenig Shooting Sports, a flat-faced match trigger shoe, a precision-machined Cylinder & Slide disconnector, a forged slide stop, an integral plunger tube, and a hand-tuned sear spring. The black nitride finish on the stainless steel frame contrasts with the two-tone, hand-polished stainless and black nitrided slide with Ruger Custom Shop marks. G10 grips with a textured finish complete this tough and dependable competition pistol.

The Ruger Custom Shop SR1911 Competition pistol comes standard with a fiber optic front sight and an adjustable serrated rear target sight for match speed and accuracy; an undercut trigger guard and beavertail grip safety for a comfortable high hold that minimizes muzzle flip; and an ambidextrous safety and extended magazine release.

This pistol arrives in a waterproof, fitted hard case and contains one 8-round competition magazine and one 7-round competition magazine, a Ruger Custom Shop Certificate of Authenticity, a challenge coin, a cleaning cloth, a gun peg, and a decal.
